Police University continues to capture the viewers' attention with impressive nationwide viewership ratings for its first two episodes and we're sure episode 3 also had everyone go nuts.
The series is set on a National Police University campus. Police University depicts the story of a passionate former detective, now a professor in the university, named Yoo Dong Man (Cha Tae Hyun). He has 20 years of experience working on various crime divisions and cases until he had a complicated encounter with Kang Sun Ho (Jinyoung), a genius hacker who gets taken by the police for stealing money from an online gambling company.
Now ready to change his life for good, Kang Sun Ho becomes Yoo Dong Man's student in the National Police University, which further boosted attention from the viewers.

Police University episode 3 sees Kang Sun Ho planning to prove himself worthy to be a student in the police university. But to do that, he must carry his unit to victory at the last round of fierce training against the first unit led by Min Kyu.
Filled with determination to lead his team to fruitful success, he musters up his courage and asks Yoo Dong Man for advice and after a series of talks, the professor eventually gives in. This is perhaps Yoo Dong Man has a soft spot for Kang Sun Ho, who is also his online hacker friend Yoon. Yoo Dong Man stays late at night to come up with a strategy to help Kang Sun Ho as he also has no idea how to help the young man.
Tomorrow came and Yoo Dong Man had given Kang Sun Ho tricky advice to which the latter did not understand until the last training itself started. "Before coming up with a strategy, you should get to know more about your unit members," this was what Yoo Dong Man had told him but he only listened to the parts of his advice telling him to quit.

Finally understanding what Yoo Dong Man really meant, Kang Sun Ho devices a strategy that in the end, made him the last man standing. However, one of his teammates got injured.
Because of what happened, Kang Sun Ho told Yoo Dong Man that he would voluntarily quit the university. At the same time, an emergency happened in the hospital to which Kang Sun Ho got involved. Keeping his cool, Yoo Dong Man pulled the young man away from the perpetrator who is dangerously holding a sharp knife.
At that moment, Yoo Dong Man introduced himself as a university professor at the National Police University and Kang Sun Ho as a freshman student.
Meanwhile, Yoo Dong Man received a call from his colleague and he realizes that there is something fishy going on at the university that is somewhat related to the illegal gambling site he was passionate about.
And as he was eager to solve the case of the illegal gambling site, he finally approaches Kang Sun Ho to ask for his help, unveiling the fact that he was the one he is talking to online.

Police University episode 4 is scheduled to be released on August 17, 2021, Tuesday. The Kdrama will air on its original network KBS2 TV. New episodes for the series are released every Monday and Tuesday and are simultaneously available for online streaming KOCOWA, Viki, and Viu.
