Will ITZY Lia Leave Her Group Like What Former (G)I-DLE Member Soojin Did?

Up until now, there has been a scare of information about the ongoing investigation of ITZY member Lia's bullying scandal. Her avid followers were shocked after she was accused of bullying her classmate in middle school earlier this year.

ITZY Lia and her agency, JYP Entertainment, vehemently denied the bullying allegations. The company even filed a complaint against an internet user who claimed that the co-member of Ryujin, Shin Yuna, Yeji, and Charyeong had verbally abused her.

Unfortunately, the case was dropped due to insufficient evidence that the accuser fabricated her stories to defame the K-pop star. JYP Entertainment, however, announced that it will ask the law enforcement agency to revisit and reinvestigate the bullying accusations that "tarnished" the reputation of ITZY member Lia. The label's statement read:

"The fact that she (the accuser) has been cleared of the defamation suspicion does not imply that Lia bullied her. We are planning to request a reinvestigation so that the truth can be uncovered. We believe no one should fall victim to distortion."

While the investigations have not been finalized yet, some fans of ITZY Lia were alarmed after hearing the news about Soojin's shocking exit from (G)I-DLE. One netizen, as per All Kpop, even shared screenshots of the group's recent activities on YouTube and wondered if JYP Entertainment is planning to release a studio album as part of their comeback.

"Are they trying to keep her and move on without any explanation??? Looks like they [ITZY] are going to make a studio album comeback with this situation...? Isn't it easier to properly clear up the situation before making a comeback??"

Other K-pop fans demanded JYP Entertainment and ITZY member Lia to provide a clear explanation as to what really is the truth about the bullying accusations. Some say it is very uncomfortable to watch someone or hear a K-pop idol singing knowing that she could have had hurt another person in the past. Here are some of the top-voted comments:

"Exactly...they should just properly provide an explanation.. I just feel so uncomfortable, having to keep seeing someone who could have been a bully...I don't know what the company wants us to do, honestly...I'm not that interested in hearing JYP's opinion but I would very much like to see Lia write her own letter.."
"I know...What are you doing, JYP? The atmosphere's all fired up because of Soojin's departure and if you want to make a comeback, you should prepare for it well... The situation is so grey right now that it annoys me even more."

JYP Entertainment has yet to respond to the issue that ITZY Lia could have the same fate as (G)I-DLE member Soojin due to the bullying scandal. So, devoted followers of Ryujin, Shin Yuna, Yeji, and Charyeong's co-member should take these unverified claims lightly until everything is proven true and correct.
