Following its recent announcement, the pole dancing anime Pole Princess!! revealed more dancers along with their respective voice actresses.
Specifically, four new characters and voice cast members were revealed via the show’s official website and Twitter account.
Anime fans will likely be familiar with at least some of the new cast members as they have voiced several popular characters.
Pole Princess!! – An Original Anime About Pole Dancing
In case you missed its announcement, Pole Princess!! is an original anime series by Avex Pictures and Tatsunoko Production which was announced last week.
As its title implies, the series will be all about pole dancing.
Its story follows Hinano, an average 17-year-old girl whose grandmother ran a planetarium. But Hinano soon finds out that the planetarium would close down.
While thinking about what she can do to help, Hinano sees a woman pole dancing under a starry sky.
Inspired by this sign, Hinano gathers her friends and they set up a stage in the planetarium. Thus begins their pole dancing journey.
Aside from the premise, some of the show’s main staff members were also announced.
Directing the series is Hitomi Ezoe, an episode director for JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure.
Joining Ezoe is scriptwriter Touko Machida, character designer Tomari, CG director Yoshihiro Otobe, and music composer Kenta Higashioji.

Pole Princess!! Cast, Release Date
The initial announcement featured the reveal of the four main cast members.
Now, four other voice actresses were revealed to be part of the series.
Among them is Saori Hayami, a well-known voice actress whom you may know for playing Yor Forger in Spy x Family, Shinobu Kocho in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, and Yui Yuigahama in OreGairu.
Also joining the anime’s cast is Rina Hidaka. She is best known for her roles as Milim Nava in That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, as well as Filo in The Rising of the Shield Hero.
The other two new cast members are Rie Kugimiya (Taiga Aisaka in Toradora! and Alphonse Elric in Fullmetal Alchemist) and Yoshino Nanjo (Eli Ayase in Love Live!).
The confirmed voice cast members of Pole Princess!! include:
- Rio Tsuchiya as Hinano Hoshikita
- Anna Suzuki as Lilia Saijo
- Yui Ogura as Mio Tousaka
- Minami Hinata as Subaru Nanyo
- Yoshino Nanjō as Yukari Mikoshiro
- Rina Hidaka as Sana Murafuji
- Saori Hayami as Noa Aoi
- Rie Kugimiya as Azumi Shinо̄
Currently, there’s no word yet on a release date for Pole Princess!!.
