In case you haven't noticed it yet, the Star Wars universe is expanding. This exciting development can, of course, be linked to the tremendous success of TheMandalorian which arguably reinvigorated the entire Star Wars franchise and restored a lot of fans' faith in Disney's capability to handle the legendary science-fiction property.
The spinoff show was home to several jaw-dropping moments and live-action crossovers we didn't know were possible. In Season 2 alone, we saw the debuts and returns of characters like Bo-Katan Kryze, Ahsoka, and Boba Fett and it sure was a treat seeing those icons sharing some screen time with Din Djarin and Grogu aka Baby Yoda.
Apparently, we haven't seen the last of these epic crossovers as Pedro Pascal himself is teasing Lucasfilm's plans heading forward and with Lucasfilm seemingly pulling a Marvel Cinematic Universe of their own, the characters from The Mandalorian, Ahsoka, and The Book of Boba Fett could crossover from one series to another.
In a recent interview with IndieWire, Pascal said: "I am told what's happening and what the plan is, but I can't share it. They are in the expansion of this world, where there are so many unexpected surprises and timelines that are going to be dealt with. If the character were to cross over into these worlds, it will be utilized in a way that isn't meant to be expected. I wouldn't want to spoil the surprise of whether or not characters from the show we already know are crossing over."
Now, this may come as a genuine surprise to some people but quite frankly, something like this was to be expected already especially if you've been paying attention to the show. Although actors like Rosario Dawson and Temuera Morrison are moving on for the meantime to focus on their respective shows, they will always cross paths with the famed bounty hunter and potentially the next ruler of Mandalore.
All episodes of The Mandalorian are available on Disney+.
