Physical: 100 took over one of Netflix’s charts weeks after it premiered.

After the deadly games on Squid Game, Netflix is now offering a reality competition series that features brutal challenges to test its 100 competitors’ strength, agility, and strategy. The Jang Ho Gi-produced series is created like a tournament for the challengers who are up to do everything to win 300 million KRW.

Physical: 100 premiered on Jan. 24. Nearly a month since the journey of South Korea’s mightiest and strongest individuals, the series has already impressed its viewers with its sets.

Physical: 100 Dominates Netflix’s Non-English TV Show Chart

On Wednesday, Netflix officially ranked Physical: 100 as the top non-English TV show.

The Korean variety show ranked first on the streaming giant’s Top 10 list for the week of Jan. 30 to Feb. 5 after garnering 41.6 million viewing hours. Physical: 100 immediately scored popularity due to its setting that resembles Squid Game.

The series invited 100 people of different ages, jobs, professions, nationalities, and genders to participate in the challenges. The last one standing will win 300 million KRW, approximately around $238,890.

Its ninth and final episode will stream next week.

Aside from Physical: 100, several Korean drama series also made it to the non-English TV show, including Crash Course in Romance, True Beauty, The Interest of Love, Alchemy of Souls and Love to Hate You.

Physical: 100 Participants

Physical: 100 welcomed the strongest and toughest people in South Korea to participate in its games.

Among the renowned participants are MMA fighter Choo Sung Hoon, 2018 Winter Olympics Gold Medalist – Skeleton Skater Yun Sung Bin, 2012 Summer Olympics Gold Medalist – artistic gymnast Yang Hak Seon, Korea Navy UDT/SEAL reservist Agent H, fitness vlogger Caro, Korea Navy UDT/SEAL reservist Jjang Jae, judoka Jeong Bo Kyeong, boxer Choi Hyun Mi, swimmer Park Seon Kwan, luger Park Jin Young, luger, Cho Jung Myung and bobsledder Kim Sik.

There are also 23 female contestants in Physical: 100: Jang Eun Sil, Ahn Da Jeong, Choi Hyun Mi, Hwang Bit Yeol, Elaine Yuki Wong, Jeong Bo Kyeong, Joo Jo Yeon, Kkang Mi, Kim Chun Ri, Kim Da Young, Kim Eun Ji, Ko Da Young, Lee Da Hyeon, Lee So Young, Lee Ye Ji, Lee Miho, Park Min Ji, Seo Ha Yan, Shim Eu Ddeum, Shin Bomire, Song A Reum, Yoo Ga Ram and YoYo.
