Phil Lord, Chris Miller Tease On Spider-Noir, Spider-Ham Spinoffs

We're still waiting for Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse to hit theaters this December yet Phil Lord and Chris Miller are already looking forward to the future. The executive producers have teased on possible spinoffs involving Spider-Noir and Spider-Ham.

Lord and Miller recently spoke to ComicBook.com about their plans for more stories on Into The Spider-Verse finally hits theaters. The executive producers teased that the upcoming Sony Pictures film is just the beginning.

"Look, we wanted to make a movie that felt like it was the tip of the iceberg," Lord revealed. "You could imagine all of these other things. So it's music to our ears that people could imagine a Spider-Noir film and the Spider-Ham insane cartoon."

This is certainly good news for fans who are hoping that Spider-Ham will get his own spin-off in the future. Likewise, it would be interesting to see more of Nicolas Cage's Spider-Noir. Needless to say, Miller agrees with Lord and seems to be eager to get started on the new stories as soon as possible.

"We still have the horse," he said. "We've got to put the cart behind it. So we'll let it ride down the road a few blocks before we get too big for our britches."

There is little doubt that Sony Pictures has no plans of slowing down anytime soon. There are already talks about a major spin-off involving Spider-Women as well as an Into The Spider-Verse sequel. It's certainly an exciting time for Spider-Man fans.

Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse will hit theaters on December 14.
