Phase 4 of the MCU May Bring in a Whole Lot of Multiverse Meta-Games

Marvel may have yet to reveal all of its plans for Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but there are some that believe the studio may be planning to introduce a multiversal meta-game in the next batch of Marvel movies.

Taking a look at the direction of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Comic Book Review believes that Marvel may be heading straight into the multiverse. Not only is Marvel planning movies like Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness ( a film which in itself promises the use of the multiverse), but the studio is also planning to dip into the multiverse in its Loki series.

The upcoming live-action Disney series set to explore a universe where Loki wields the Space Stone with recklessness. The first few set photos for the upcoming series teased the appearance of the Time Variance Authority, an infinitely vast bureaucracy that governs a significant number of realities in the ever-growing multiverse. From the look of things, Loki is going to have its fair share of exploring the multiverse together with fans.

That's not all, of course. The introduction of the Time Variance Authority also seems to suggest that Marvel may have a meta-strategy on hand. Integrating the TVA allows Marvel to properly cultivate the multiverse that the studio is building in Phase 4 of the MCU.

Maybe we're even going to get a look at the Time Variance Authority in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

Loki is set to premiere sometime in 2021.
