Peter Parker: Spectacular Spider-Man #300 Will Be An Over-sized Special

It might only be the 10th issue in Chip Zdarsky and Adam Kubert's run on Peter Parker: Spectacular Spider-Man, but the creative team will be celebrating the 300th issue of the long-running series. Marvel has announced that the 300th issue, the fourth part of the ongoing Most Wanted arc, will be coming out this February and will be an oversized 56-page special.

The 56-page special will have Spider-Man battle The Tinkerer and get help from a number of well-known heroes, some of whom have guest starred in the series. Black Panther, Hawkeye, Iron Heart, and The Wasp will help the friendly neighborhood hero take on one of his longtime foes. Since this is an oversized special, fans can expect a fun brawl that will probably be drawn well.

Nick Lowe, the Marvel Executive Editor, said that this issue would tie together all of the various elements from Zdarsky and Kubert's run, which will result in the beginning of an arc everyone will supposedly be talking about. Considering how the series has brought the Family Business graphic novel to the main continuity and revealed Peter's identity to J. Jonah Jameson and Wilson Fisk, anything bigger than this should be worth seeing.

Fans will be able to get Peter Parker: Spectacular Spider-Man #300 on February 28. The first issue of the arc, Peter Parker: Spectacular Spider-Man #297, is available now in comic stores and digital services.
