Percy Jackson & The Olympians Teaser Drops First Look at Walker Scobell, Dior Goodjohn's Clarisse La Rue

The first teaser for Percy Jackson and The Olympians has finally been revealed and we now have our first official glimpse at Camp Half-Blood. In addition to that, the teaser featured brief footage of Walker Scobell as the titular demi-god as well as Dior Goodjohn as Clarisse La Rue!

Disney+ shared the first teaser for Percy Jackson and The Olympians at the D23 Expo panel which was also attended by Walker Scobell, Leah Jeffries, and Aryan Simhadri, as well as author Rick Riordan. In the teaser, Percy makes it clear that being a half-blood is not easy and issues a warning to possible demi-gods, telling them to stay away.

For most viewers, there isn't much to see in the Percy Jackson and The Olympians teaser. However, fans were immediately delighted with the footage which focuses on Camp Half-Blood and some of the demi-gods who live there. At one point, one character steps up and it is believed to be Dior Goodjohn who has been cast as Ares' daughter Clarisse La Rue.

We don't get much in the teaser but it's certainly enough to hype up the highly anticipated Disney+ series. Hopefully, we'll get a full trailer for the show in the next few weeks.

The first season of Percy Jackson and The Olympians will adapt Rick Riordan's The Lightning Thief, the first novel in the book series. The upcoming show will also star Virginia Kull as Sally Jackson, Glynn Turman as Chiron, Jason Mantzoukas as Dionysus / Mr. D, Megan Mullally as Alecto / Ms. Dodds, Timm Sharp as Gabe Ugliano, and Charlie Bushnell as Luke Castellan.

Percy Jackson and The Olympians has not yet been given an official release date. However, the series is already expected to premiere on Disney+ before the end of the year. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
