Initially played by Logan Lerman, Walker Scobell graces the small screens playing the titular character, Percy Jackson in the Disney Plus series.

Scobell has previously played the younger Ryan Reynolds in Netflix's The Adam Project, which he was immensely praised for upon his acting debut. And now, he's off to take bigger waves as the son of the Greek god Poseidon.

This coming Percy Jackson and the Olympians' debut, Percy has to clear his name for allegedly stealing Zeus' lightning bolt. More adventures unfold his true history of being a demigod.

Leah Sava Jeffries is the new Annabeth Chase in the Percy Jackson reboot series. Previously played by Alexandra Daddario, Annabeth is the daughter of the Greek goddess Athena.

Annabeth is known to be an intelligent and strategic fighter when introduced in the original source material, who will eventually become one of Percy's closest friends.

As for Jeffries' acting history, she has been starring in commercials since she was a toddler and soon made her debut in TV shows such as Empire, and even in movies like Beast and Something From Tiffany's.

Grover Underwood is a part of the trio Percy Jackson forms once he joins Camp Half-Blood. Played by Aryan Simhadri, Grover the satyr is the first best friend Percy meets, intentionally placed by his side to keep him safe and take him to camp when the right time comes.

Even before joining the Percy Jackson series, Simhadri had previously acted in the Cheaper by the Dozen remake and voiced a couple of characters in animated shows such as Adventure Time, The Casagrandes, Adventures In Wonder Park, and Mira, Royal Detective.

Sally Jackson (Virginia Kull) is one of the pivotal characters in the Percy Jackson novel series. Apart from giving birth to a demigod, Percy, she also becomes the reason why he drew his first blade.

Kull is most recognized for her starring roles in Gracepoint, Big Little Lies, and the horror series, NOS4A2. She has also been a recurring character in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.

Lance Reddick is Zeus

The late Lance Reddick is known for mostly science fiction roles in the previous projects he took, which include Fringe and LOST, and of course, his most notable being in the John Wick franchise.

Reddick plays Zeus in Percy Jackson and the Olympians series, and being one of the 'big three' gods, there's no doubt that his debut will be one of the most highly anticipated in the first season of the reboot.

Other Confirmed Percy Jackson and the Olympians' Cast

While there have been other confirmed cast members alongside their respective character roles in the Percy Jackson reboot, we have yet to receive our first looks in the series, so here are the other confirmed actors starring in the Disney Plus show!

Megan Mullally as Alecto (Mrs. Dodds)

Megan Mullally, commonly known for her long-running role as Karen Walker in Will and Grace, plays Alecto aka Mrs. Dodds in the Percy Jackson reboot. Disguising herself as one of Percy's teachers, she revealed herself to be an actual Fury behind the mask.

Glynn Turman Plays Chiron (Mr. Brunner)

As the centaur and trainer of Greek heroes and demigods, Glynn Turman's Chiron (aka Mr. Brunner) is the activities director at Camp Half-Blood, who will be helping Percy build his strength and abilities along his journey.

Jason Mantzoukas is Dionysus (Mr. D)

Popularly known for his comedic roles in the past, Jason Mantzoukas' casting for Greek god Dionysus aka the God of wine, who also runs Camp Half-Blood, would be quite an interesting take on the character once the series airs.

Adam Copeland is Ares

Adam Copeland joins the 'big three' gods in the series as Ares, the god of war. He is the father of one of the first demigods Percy meets on Camp Half-Blood, Clarisse La Rue.

Toby Stephens as Poseidon

For fans expecting Logan Lerman to play Poseidon, they will be gravely disappointed, as the God of the Seas will be played by Toby Stephens, Percy's father who shares a few moments in time with his son during his journeys and battles.

Lin-Manuel Miranda as Hermes

The Greek god Hermes will be played by none other than writer, musician, and actor Lin-Manuel Miranda. Hermes is likely playing the role for more than one season, given that he usually helps Percy on his quests, as seen in the novels.

Jay Duplass as Hades

Jay Duplass is Hades, the God of the Underworld, whom Percy, Annabeth, and Grover have to bargain with on their first quest to return Zeus' lightning bolt.

Charlie Bushnell as Luke Castellan

As one of Hermes' sons, Charlie Bushnell's Luke Castellan is set to take a larger role to play in the early Percy Jackson stories.

Dior Goodjohn as Clarisse La Rue

Daughter of Ares and Percy's bully on Camp Half-Blood, Dior Goodjohn's role will eventually set her up as an ally of Percy Jackson.

Jessica Parker Kennedy as Medusa

Jessica Parker Kennedy may only be playing the role of Medusa in the first season, but her role will surely be one of the memorable ones, considering that this will be a part of Percy's quest to overcome his battles by himself.

Olivea Morton as Nancy Bobofit

Nancy Bobofit (Olivea Morton) is a bully at Percy's school, whom Percy first finds out about his powers and identity when he ends up using his demigod abilities against her.

Suzanne Cryer as Echidna

Also known as the "mother of all monsters", Suzanne Cryer will be bringing the character of Echidna to life.

Timm Sharp as Gabe Ugaliano

Timm Sharp plays the role of Percy's stepdad, Gabe Ugaliano, whom Percy's mother was forced to marry to protect their family. Although don't get this description wrong, the stepdad is no good guy to look up to. At all.

Timothy Omundson as Hephaestus

Though it remains to be seen whether Timothy Omundson's Hephaestus will be debuting as early as the first season of Percy Jackson and the Olympians, his role will become more prominent in Season 3.

Every demigod fan knows that Logan Lerman played the original iconic Percy Jackson in the 2010s movies, and while he wasn't cast to return as his own character's father, Poseidon, in spite of fans' demands, here's what he has to say about the series' new lead (via Comicbook.com):

"I don't think [Walker Scobell] needs any advice. The kid's really talented. The only advice I can give him is just to enjoy it while you're doing it. I think when you're young, at least when I was younger [playing Percy], you almost forget to enjoy it as you're a part of it. I really enjoyed it while I was doing it. Just take each second in and enjoy the newness of what you're doing and being a part of something like that. You're great. You're there for a reason. Just do your job."

As of writing, nothing has been confirmed about Lerman making any appearances or surprise cameos in the series. So, we'll just have to wait and see once Percy Jackson and the Olympians airs on Disney+ this December 20th.
