It goes without saying that Pedro Pascal has solidified himself as an integral part of the Star Wars universe and for a franchise that has been dominated by the Jedi and Sith since its inception, it's quite astonishing how his character who isn't even a Force wielder has also reached the same level of popularity the likes of Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader have achieved.
Now, it may no longer come as a surprise to many of you but the star of The Mandalorian has long considered himself a Star Wars junkie. In fact, he recently revealed during an interview his favorite entry in the Skywalker saga and it's not one fans might expect. What's even more shocking is his reason for liking it.
Appearing on Late Night with Seth Meyers, The Last of Us actor surprisingly said that his favorite Star Wars film is Return of the Jedi and it's because of the Ewoks, arguably some of the most polarizing creatures in a galaxy far, far away. Pascal shared: "I remember finally getting tickets to Return of the Jedi, which if I’m being honest is my favorite one. It’s like we’re not allowed to admit it but I would say because of the Ewoks."

I guess this only proves that Din Djarin has a true affinity for cute little creatures which is on-brand when you think about it, especially considering how he's also been very protective of Grogu since the start of The Mandalorian. Things may be taking an interesting turn however as Baby Yoda is beginning to master the ways to the Force which is evident in the show's official trailer.
The third season of The Mandalorian is hitting Disney+ on March 1, 2023.
