What Happened in Peacemaker Episode 4?
In Peacemaker Episode 4, The Chaod Less Travelled, after they captured Judomaster, they went back to the headquarters where Peacemaker (Smith) and Chase (Vigilante) tells Murn about the butterfly creature that came out of Goff and that they already destroyed it. Chase and Smith drove to Auggie’s house where Smith found out that his father has been arrested.
Trying to understand more, Smith wanted to talk to Auggie even when Murn didn’t want to, Adebayo also intervened. Auggie, in rage, said he’d expose Project Butterfly to the police. Adebayo had to do something so he talked to Chase to get himself arrested so he could kill Auggie from inside prison in belief that such would be helpful to Smith.
Things are chaotic as Smith and Adebayo arrived at the headquarters and found that Judomaster has escaped, leaving Economos injured. They were able to catch up with Judomaster where Smith tackles him and Adebayo shot him before having the secret about the butterflies out. Smith went back to his trailer and it was revealed he kept the butterfly in a jar and didn’t really kill it.
Meanwhile, in prison, Chase challenged the prison mates of Auggie but the big man didn’t want to get involved. Later, Chase was bailed by Harcourt. Smith is alone and flashbacks of his childhood reveal the reason why it was a traumatic memory for him: his brother died. Adebayo calls Murn about a possible lead.
As for Murn, all this time, he is a butterfly himself.
