Paul Bettany Says He Knows “Nothing” About Avengers 4 Though He Was Given A Script

Avengers: Infinity War left everyone blown away after the film left more than half of the members of the Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy gone after Thanos' finger-snapping massacre at the end of the movie. Now everyone's dying to know what might happen in the film's sequel, Avengers 4. Unfortunately, Marvel actors Paul Bettany, the actor in charge of Vision, and Pom Klementieff, the actress who plays the Guardians member Mantis, have no idea what's going to happen in the second and final installment in Marvel's two-part Avengers movie.

Or so they say in a new interview with MTV. Sitting down to speak with the television channel during this year's San Diego Comic-Con International, both Bettany and Klementieff say that they really don't know anything about what might happen in Avengers 4.

According to Bettany the directors, Joe and Anthony Russo, also gave him a script to read, unfortunately, it turned out to be a fake document.

"Here's my experience," Bettany told the channel. "I read the script and then the Russo Brothers rung me up and said, 'what'd you think?' I said, 'oh it's great' and they went 'that's not the script' and I went 'what?' They went 'oh it's got lots of different, it's got a different ending, it's got different turns in it, certain people die that don't die.' And they said, 'but we want you to read the real script.

Then the directors decided to play Bettany a bit more, giving the British actor what they said was the "real script" but what actually turned out to be the same old fake script that they gave before. Turns out the Russo brothers like to troll their actors too, and they troll hard. The directors gave fake scripts to their cast for Infinity War before, but to gave a "fake" script and a "real" fake script to make fun of the cast seems like a whole new prank. Guess everyone's just going to have to wait for Avengers 4's premiere next year.
