South Korean comedian Park Soo Hong suffered injuries when his own father assaulted him earlier this week.
Fans of Park Soo Hong were left worried after photos of him being rushed to a hospital emerged. The severity of his injuries remains unknown as of press time, but a shocking update regarding his next plans disclosed his current status.

Park Soo Hong's Health Status Revealed
An official from JTBC sent a statement to a media outlet (via Allkpop)divulging that the TV personality would still push through with his recording on the MBN's Dongchimi. Park Soo Hong currently serves as the show's host.
The update added that the comedian is currently resting and recuperating following the incident so he can make it on the October 6 recording of the program.

The update has been confirmed by a production crew, who said, "We will proceed with our schedules while considering Park Soo Hong's health as our top priority. Currently, [Park Soo Hong] expressed his desire to attend the recording without any setbacks, so we decided to proceed with our recording as planned."
South Korean media outlets revealed that Park Soo Hong's 80-year-old father is trying to take the blame for the comedian's brother committed, which involved illegal embezzlement. He was present at the scene as a witness when he attacked his son.
Park Soo Hong's Brother Scammed Him
The case is rooted in the issue that the brother stole over $1.47 million in the past years while his wife used $69,800 on beauty salons, fitness centers, and their children's lessons.
According to the TV personality, his brother stole his money while working for him as his manager. He was arrested last month after the district court issued an arrest warrant.
As part of the proceedings, Park Soo Hong met the prosecutors at the Seoul Western District Prosecutor's Office before he was stabbed by his own father.
