BLACKPINK Jennie suffered from an invasion of privacy after photos of her got leaked.

In the past months, Jennie has been the subject of outlets' headlines after sparking romance rumors with BTS V. Both of them never addressed the claims, but internet sleuths tried finding evidence to prove their romance.

However, recently, Jennie's personal photos also got affected by those who wanted to obtain information about her private life.

BLACKPINK Jennie's Photos Leaked

On Monday, BLACKPINK and Jennie's agency YG Entertainment requested a police investigation to determine the identity of the person who leaked her personal photos.

The statement, as shared by Korea JoongAng Daily, confirmed that it had already filed a lawsuit last month after collecting information regarding the issue.

"We have refrained from mentioning the matter or making an official statement to minimize any further damage. However, there have been indiscriminate rumors, criticism, personal attacks, sexual harassment, and violations of personal life sparked by those private photographs. We are now announcing that we will take legal action and correct the situation," YG Entertainment went on.

The company warned that it would take legal action after Jennie's photos were posted in public illegally.

In the end, it pledged to protect its artists' rights and interests.

Culprit Behind Jennie's Leaked Photos Speaks Up

Following YG Entertainment's statement, the uploader of the photos — who goes by the name Gurumi Haribo, said it would not be over for the idol while urging both Jennie and V to confirm their relationship.

It added that it did not receive any legal notice from anyone since they shared the photos.

The user then told everyone that nobody could sue them for defamation as they have all relevant evidence of their claims. They insisted that V and Jennie have truly been on those dates despite the recent dismissal from their companies.
