Park Hyung Sik will helm the upcoming romance drama, Soundtrack #1.
From being a K-pop idol, Park Hyung Sik grew up to become a renowned South Korean actor. In the past years since 2012, he became part of different TV series and films until he drew more popularity in Japan.
So far, he already has nearly 20 titles under his belt after gracing Ronin Pop, Juror 8, The Heir, High Society, What’s With This Family, Strong Girl Bong Soon, Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth, Suits, and Happiness.
This year, Park Hyung Sik will show his romantic side again through his upcoming romance film, Soundtrack #1.

Why Park Hyung Sik Wanted To Be Part of Soundtrack #1
Soundtrack #1 is a new romance drama that tells the story of a man and a woman, who have been friends for two decades, end up living together for two weeks. Park Hyung Sik plays the role of photographer Han Sun Woo, while Han So Hee is lyricist Lee Eun Soo.
In a new interview before the release of the drama, Park Hyung Sik said that Soundtrack #1 is about the things that happen when love starts to grow between two individuals who have been friends for a long time. He added that the drama will touch people’s hearts even more by pairing the story with music.

As for the reason why he chose to star in the drama, the actor revealed the main reason that pushed him to accept the offer.
“The biggest reason was that I wanted to work together with director Kim Hee Won and actress Han So Hee, and I also chose the project because the script was so fun to read,” he said.
Park Hyung Sik Chooses Between Love and Friendship
Park Hyung Sik took his time to describe his character, Han Sun Woo. Per the K-pop idol, he studied how to perfectly convey the character’s sincerity – which is his biggest charm.
When asked what he would choose between love and friendship, he non-hesitantly said, “Love.”
Although he did not further reveal his reason why he chose that one instead, his answer surely left fans in awe especially since it would be great to see him finally date someone.
Soundtrack #1 will premiere on March 23 on Disney+.
