Fans once again see Park Bo Gum live and personal at the Baeksang Arts Awards after his recent military discharge. The Record of Youth star joined Suzy Bae and Shin Dong Yup to honor the excellence of South Korean artists in film, television and theatre.
With Park Bo Gum’s return, fans couldn’t help but commend his and Suzy Bae’s stunning visuals on stage. Even Shin Dong Yup praised the two’s incredible look together.
Park Bo Gum, Suzy Bae Display Great Visuals at Baeksang Arts Awards
A lot were awestruck by Park Bo Gum and Suzy Bae’s visuals while they stood side by side on stage.
“When I see the two of your faces while hosting, your faces are amazing artworks,” Shin Dong Yup said, via AllKpop.
So, to entertain fans more, the two put their hands together to create a heart.
It was the first time the 28-year-old actor was seen in public after his military discharge. He donned a black suit and greeted everyone with enthusiasm.
“I’m Park Bo-gum, who has returned healthily and is greeting everyone for the first time at Baeksang,” he said, per KBIZoom.
Shin Dong Yup also greeted the audience with excitement after seeing them once again after a year.
“Suzy and I are seeing the audience again after a year, while Park Bo-gum is delivering his greeting after such a long time,” he said.
“While getting back to my normal daily life, I’m here to greet the audience of Baeksang after such a long time,” Park Bo Gum responded. “Looking at everyone, I realize that spring has finally come to the Korean popular culture.”
Of course, Suzy Bae also greeted the audience.
“We are seeing the audience again after a long time. Park Bo Gum is also seen again,” she said.

“I’m happy to see the seniors and audiences again,” Park Bo Gum ended the greetings. “I’m even happier to be here with people representing the popular culture and arts.”
Park Bo Gum as the Baeksang Arts Awards Host
Park Bo Gum hosted Baeksang Arts Awards for three consecutive years, from 2018 to 2020, Soompi cited. Sadly, he didn’t make it last year due to his enlistment in the Navy to complete his 20 months of military service.
“It’s such a shame Bo Gum isn’t here this year,” Suzy Bae said at the event last year. “We will wait for him.”

Before his enlistment, Park Bo Gum promised he would return. He was officially discharged on April 30.
Alternatively, Shin Dong Yup has also hosted the Baeksang Arts Awards for five years, while Suzy Bae has been hosting the program for seven consecutive years.
