Kim Go Eun and GOT7’s Jinyoung will be back to reprise their roles as Yumi and Bobby Jung in Yumi’s Cells Season 2. To excite the fans more, tvN has dropped the official look at these two’s much-loved characters.

Viewers will once again see Yumi’s cute and animated cell characters who sleep, eat and feel with her every day in Yumi’s Cells Season 2. They will also get to know Bobby even more with the introduction of his own animated cell characters.

Yumi’s Cells Season 2 Official Poster Drops

tvN has now unveiled the official character posters for the series’ second season. Of course, it features Go Eun and Jinyoung as the two of the most favorite K-drama characters.

But compared to the couple’s dynamic in the first season, things would be different this time. Fans saw their friendship grow in Season 1.

However, in Yumi’s Cells Season 2, they may take their relationship to another level. Will they end up together this time?

“I want to get to know you better,” the words on Go Eun’s side of the poster read, as Yumi’s love cell seems to be whispering something to her ear.

“Is it okay for me to start now?” the caption on Jinyoung’s poster read, along with the first look at his own animated love cell.

By the looks of it, the emergence of their love cells just means something romantic is about to brew between the two.

“Babi’s cells, which will be revealed for the first time this season, have an array of charms just as colorful and diverse as Yumi’s cells,” the show’s producers said, via Soompi. “Please look forward to seeing Babi’s many colorful cells, which will be revealed gradually, starting with his love cell.”

Of course, aside from their love cells, fans should also look forward to Go Eun and Jinyoung’s incredible chemistry.

“You also won’t want to miss the chemistry between Kim Go Eun and Park Jinyoung, who will portray in fine detail the changes in emotion experienced by Yumi and Babi,” they added.

Yumi’s Cells Season 2 Plotline, Cast, Release Date and More

Meanwhile, after the first season's success, fans are now looking forward to seeing Yumi’s Cells Season 2.

So, what will happen this time?

After Yumi and Goo Wong’s separation, NME noted that Yumi’s officemate Yoo Bobby (Jin Young) would enter the scene.

The show’s writer Song Jae Jung revealed the new season would see the love story of this new pair. It would also show the characters’ growth and how it would be more dynamic than in the first season.

In addition, besides the lead cast and cute cells that some of the most prominent stars in the Korean entertainment scene will voice, there will also be new faces joining Yumi’s Cells Season 2.

Shin Ye Eun will reportedly join the second season to play the role of Yoo Da Eun, a part-timer at a tteokbokki restaurant that Yoo Bobby owns.

It will also include Pyo Ji Hoo, a.k.a. Block B’s P.O, as Control Z, who will start dating Ruby (Lee Yu Bi).

Yumi’s Cells Season 2 is set to be out on June 10.
