Ozark has been sitting on the top of the list on Netflix for nine straight weeks after it delivered the finale of the series with Season 4. A lot of shows tried to topple it down such as Selling Sunset, The Circle, and Welcome to Eden but they can only get so close only to be unsuccessful in taking the top spot Ozark has cemented itself into – that is, until, The Lincoln Lawyer.

Released by Netflix just last week, The Lincoln Lawyer took the interest of many and it finally dethroned Ozark on the top stop of the Netflix Top Ten. It is a really familiar title for everyone which possibly helped with people being curious on the show: it is from a book series by Michael Connelly which was adapted into a movie in 2011 by Matthew McConaughey.

The Lincoln Lawyer is a Netflix original series based on the book of the same name by Connelly but no, it is not Matthew McConaughey who plays the lawyer this time, it is Manuel Garcia-Rulfo who plays the titular character. Seen on 6 Underground and in a few episodes of Goliath, Garcia-Rulfo makes a huge step in bannering The Lincoln Lawyer.

Garcia-Rulfo plays Mickey Haller who surprisingly inherited the whole practice of one Jerry Vincent who was murdered. Haller was on a break after facing an accident while surfing which led to a drug addiction and being in rehab. Looking at it as his shot to come back, he grabs the chance to be back as The Lincoln Lawyer.

He is joined by Neve Campbell as Maggie McPherson, Becki Newton as Lorna, Christopher Gorham as Trevor Elliot, Angus Sampson as Cisco, Jazz Raycole as Izzy Letts, Michael Graziadei as Jeff Golants, Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine as Detective Griggs, Lamont Thompson as Judge Stanton, Krista Warner as Hayley Haller, Katrina Rosita as Tanya Cruz, Reggie Lee as Angelo Soto, and more.

The Lincoln Lawyer is currently streaming on Netlfix.
