Overlord 4 Episode 1 Recap
Overlord 4 episode one begins with Albedo's love-crazed monologue about Ainz. As in previous seasons of Overlord, she is constantly bragging about Ainz's greatness and supremacy.
Albedo's behavior has reached new heights since Ainz became ruler of the Sorcerer Kingdom in E-Rantel. Albedo's feelings for Ainz have grown stronger as a result of her duty to work alongside the Supreme Ruler.
She is in charge of public affairs, report preparation, and providing constructive feedback on suggestions from Nazarick residents.
Not only are Albedo's emotions heightened, but Aura has also shown Ainz a different kind of affection. This has resulted in the banter between Aura and Albedo after Ainz unexpectedly offered Aura and Mare a seat on his lap.
Meanwhile, Ainz is having issues with the Sorcerer Kingdom's affairs. While he is still getting used to wearing outlandish outfits on a daily basis, he is also dazed when it comes to public laws.
Ainz, as an ordinary salaryman in the real world, lacks the knowledge to facilitate public laws. He can only suggest some changes to Nazarick by sending his suggestions anonymously along with the others.
He is so bad at running the kingdom that he can only suggest that everyone wear uniforms. Even Albedo made a snide remark about how ridiculous the suggestion was, unaware that it was actually Ainz's suggestion.
In any case, the Sorcerer Kingdom is running low on resources. After Ainz became the new ruler, merchants stopped coming to replenish the kingdom's supplies. As a result, Ainz purposefully inquired about Demiurge's plans.
Ainz decided to walk around in public after Albedo asked to visit the Re-Estize Kingdom. Ainz was questioned by Fith, the NPC maid assigned to serve Ainz for the day, about the type of kingdom Ainz would build for E-Rantel.
Pandora's Actor arrives just in time to provide Ainz with some reports. He has been Ainz's body double, playing the adventurer Momon. He informs Ainz that many people have inquired about the type of kingdom Ainz would run for E-Rantel.
Ainz decided to go to the Adventurer's Guild because he didn't have any answers. After speaking with Ainzach, the guild master, he proposed taking the guild under his wing.
Ainz, on the other hand, suggested that during his reign, adventurers would go on actual journeys rather than the usual guild quests. Ainz intends to use the adventurers to explore new areas and establish friendly relations.
Historically, adventurer guilds have existed as a separate faction from politics and religion. It exists solely to protect the people, not to aid kingdoms in times of war.
Finally, Ainzach agreed to Ainz's terms. This led to Ainz realizing his answer to Fith and Pandora's Actor. He claims that he will provide eternal prosperity to Nazarick and the people of his kingdom, regardless of race, for the rest of his life.
