The lone remaining Supreme Being in the Great Tomb of Nazarick is Ainz Ooal Gown, formerly known as Momonga.

He was one of the guild's 41 rulers who did an excellent job of laying a solid foundation. His teammates went on to enjoy their lives outside of the game, leaving him nostalgic and lonely.

Momonga opted to wait till the servers died on Yggdrasil's final day. However, things took a turn for the worse when he became caught in the game and couldn't log out.

His previous settings are no longer functional, leaving him no alternative but to confide in his NPC guardians. Momonga has subsequently decided to take on a new persona, declaring himself to be Ainz Ooal Gown, the Supreme Ruler of the Great Tomb of Nazarick.

He also supervises the floor guardians and the rest of the NPCs as part of his responsibility to keep the guild running smoothly.

Ainz Ooal Gown is a legendary being who has never been defeated. He has reached his maximum level and mana capacity, making him an overpowered entity.

He is a sorcerer who uses his powers to cast spells. He also has the mighty staff that he and the other superior beings forged together. He also has a treasury, which holds several world-level items that are unknown to the rest of the game.

Lord Ainz Ooal Gown can be both good and evil in Overlord, depending on your perspective.

He is good in Nazarick's eyes, but he is tremendously evil in the eyes of the rest of the world. His official character sheet also mentions his extreme evil alignment and a negative 500 sense of justice.

Ainz Ooal Gown, despite being a protagonist, is a true villain. Despite his guilt and care for mankind on occasion, he leans more towards evil than benevolence.

To name a few of his heinous acts, he attacked the Lizardmen, attacked the trespassers in the Tomb, and murdered a large number of human soldiers.

Ainz feels no remorse for his murder because he believes he can resurrect them as often as he wants. He is not, however, malevolent in the sense that if he so desires, he will wipe humanity out.

To be clear, Ainz is exclusively concerned with his guild and the other NPCs. He only wants to delete those who are a threat to their guild, not everyone else.

Ainz Ooal Gown's floor guardians, on the other hand, are highly nasty, particularly Demiurge, who is a demon incarnate. Not to mention the perspectives of Shalltear, Albedo, and Nabe on humans. They all address humans as low-life animals and trash beings that don't need Ainz's help.

All of Ainz's guardians are on a leash now, and will not inflict unnecessary pain unless they are instructed to.
