The last time we'd seen them, they'd been trying and failing, to go back to the 20th century. Now, the young family is trying to settle into life in the 18th century and Fraser's Ridge. In the clip, Bree asks Roger if he was disappointed by their ability to return to the future.

"We wanted the stones to take us home," replies Roger. "And they did."

The clip also gives us a look at the couple with their son, Jeremiah Alexander Ian Fraser MacKenzie, or "Jemmy". There are also hints at a bond between Roger and newcomer Tom Christie (played by Mark Lewis Jones), who asks him to perform a sermon for his congregation at Fraser's Ridge.

Roger's new role as a preacher could be good for him, as he needs something to do in this timeline. We also get to see Bree impressing her son and Roger with her "invention" of matches.

"I'm going to make matches," Bree says. "I know how in theory."

"I'll be careful." she says when Roger gives her one of his looks.

You can watch the official trailer for the sixth season of Outlander here:

The new season will be based on Gabaldon's sixth book of her bestselling Outlander series, A Breath of Snow and Ashes, and according to Starz, Season 6 “sees a continuation of Claire and Jamie’s fight to protect those they love, as they navigate the trials and tribulations of life in colonial America. Establishing a home in the New World is by no means an easy task, particularly in the wild backcountry of North Carolina — and perhaps most significantly — during a period of dramatic political upheaval. The Frasers strive to maintain peace and flourish within a society which, as Claire knows all too well, is unwittingly marching towards Revolution. Against this backdrop, which heralds the birth of the new American nation, Claire and Jamie have built a home together at Fraser’s Ridge.”
