Outlander Season 6 is coming in a few weeks, and Starz is giving fans a lot to get hyped about in the weeks leading up to the highly-anticipated return with newly-revealed episode titles.
Over on Twitter, the official Outlander account unveiled the official titles of all eight episodes that will air as part of the show's sixth season. The epic time-traversing historical drama series based on the novel series by Diana Gabaldon continues the story of time-traveler Claire (Caitriona Balfe) and Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan).
In Season 6, the beloved couple will attempt to protect the family and community they've built amid the rising American Revolutionary tensions, but even more concerning will be the newspaper clipping from the future that motivated Claire's daughter Bree (Sophie Skelton) to traverse to the past in the first place to warn her parents that they are fated to die in a tragic fire.
Set to be released on Sunday, March 6, 2022 on Starz, Outlander Season 6 will kick-off with the premiere episode, titled, Echoes, and the titles of episodes following that, in order of airdate, are:
- Episode 2 - Allegiance
- Episode 3 - Temperance
- Episode 4 - Hour of the Wolf
- Episode 5 - Give me Liberty
- Episode 6 - The World Turned Upside Down
- Episode 7 - Sticks and Stones
- Episode 8 - I Am Not Alone
Outlander Season 6 will be based on Gabaldon's sixth novel of her bestselling Outlander book series, A Breath of Snow and Ashes. According to Starz, the sixth season of Outlander “sees a continuation of Claire and Jamie’s fight to protect those they love, as they navigate the trials and tribulations of life in colonial America. Establishing a home in the New World is by no means an easy task, particularly in the wild backcountry of North Carolina — and perhaps most significantly — during a period of dramatic political upheaval. The Frasers strive to maintain peace and flourish within a society which, as Claire knows all too well, is unwittingly marching towards Revolution. Against this backdrop, which heralds the birth of the new American nation, Claire and Jamie have built a home together at Fraser’s Ridge.”
