One-Punch Man and Mob Psycho 100 creator ONE recently revealed that he is working on a new manga series entitled Versus. This upcoming manga will be launched in Kodansha’s Monthly Shonen Sirius magazine.
The new manga was announced in the December issue of the Monthly Shonen Sirius magazine, and details were revealed on the series’ official Twitter account.
These details include its start date, as well as the artist who will work on the series.
ONE – The Enigmatic Author of Hit Manga Titles
In case you’re unfamiliar, ONE is the renowned creator of One-Punch Man. This series began as a webcomic back in 2009 and despite its simple art style for manga standards, the series became a hit.
Soon, the series was adapted into a manga by Shueisha for Tonari no Young Jump.
While the manga is written by ONE, its illustrator is Yusuke Murata, the renowned artist of Eyeshield 21.
Aside from a manga, the series also received an anime series adaptation beginning with Season 1 which aired in 2015 followed by the second season in 2019.
The series follows Saitama, a powerful hero who can beat practically any enemy with a single punch.
In his world, monsters wreak havoc on Earth, and the Hero Association is tasked with fighting these foes.
ONE is also known for his other work, Mob Psycho 100. It began as a manga that was serialized in Ura Sunday Comics from April 2012 to December 2017. The series also received an anime adaptation by studio Bones.
The series follows Shigeo Kageyama, an unassuming middle-school student who is nicknamed “Mob” due to his lack of presence. But he is secretly a powerful esper whose powers erupt when he experiences extreme emotions.

ONE New Manga Announcement
As for his new manga, ONE will write the series Versus, though illustration will be handled by Kyotaro Azuma.
This marks ONE’s first new manga project in 10 years as Mob Psycho 100 began back in 2012.
The series is set in a fantasy world where humans have been invaded and dominated by demons for hundreds of years.
In the years under demonic rule, humans have gathered 47 heroes that will lead the resistance against the invaders.
The release date of ONE’s new manga, Versus, is set for November 26, 2022, in the January issue of Monthly Shonen Sirius.
