One Piece Set Photo Confirms Episodes 1 and 2 Have Officially Wrapped

It has already been confirmed that the One Piece live-action series is currently in production and it looks like the show just reached a major milestone. A new set photo has just confirmed that the Netflix series has finished filming for the first and second episodes and we just got a behind-the-scenes look at some of the Straw Hats crew.

The image was shared on Twitter by director Marc Jobst who may have worked on Episodes 1 and 2. In the photo, Jobst poses with the One Piece cast including Iñaki Godoy, Emily Rudd, Jacob Romero Gibson, and Taz Skylar. Check it out below.

That's four out of five of the main Straw Hats crew and fans wondered why Mackenyu is not in the picture. Some simply assumed that Roronoa Zoro once again lost his way and might be wandering around the One Piece set somewhere. We hope he gets reunited with the rest of the crew soon.

In the meantime, it's great to know that the first two episodes of the live-action series have finally completed filming. We already know that the first episode will be titled Romance Dawn and that means we'll get to see the story unfold right from the start.

For now, it looks like the wait for the live-action series will be a long one. However, we could get an update on the show at the upcoming Netflix Geeked Week in June which the cast is expected to attend. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.

The One Piece live-action series will star Iñaki Godoy as Monkey D. Luffy, Mackenyu as Zoro, Emily Rudd as Nami, Jacob Romero Gibson as Usopp, and Taz Skylar as Sanji. The show has not yet been given an official release date but will stream exclusively on Netflix.
