One Piece Live-Action Cast Unite for Awesome Jump Festa Video

We recently met the cast of the live-action One Piece series and it looks like the actors have already started preparing to work on the upcoming show. Although they were too busy to attend Jump Festa, the cast still managed to take the time to unite and send an awesome message to fans who were at the event.

One Piece had a special panel during Jump Festa which covered all of the franchise's big updates. This included the live-action show on Netflix and although the cast was not able to fly to Japan to meet fans, they did get together to film a special video on the set of One Piece.

The video features Iñaki Godoy (Monkey D. Luffy), Mackenyu (Roronoa Zoro), Emily Rudd (Nami), Jacob Romero Gibson (Usopp), and Taz Skylar (Sanji) thanking fans for their support and apologizing for not being able to attend Jump Festa. However, they did express their excitement for their upcoming project which is expected to begin production really soon.

The video concludes with Godoy and Skylar hyping up Jump Festa by jumping around. It's clear that the cast already has a bond and hopefully, this will be seen when the show finally premieres on Netflix.

So far, the main Straw Hats crew have been the only ones who have been cast. However, there is a good chance we'll be getting more casting updates in the next few weeks.

One Piece follows Luffy on his journey to become the King of Pirates. With the help of the Straw Hats crew, Luffy searches for the fabled treasure called One Piece that will help him achieve his goal.

The live-action One Piece series has not yet been given an official production start date nor a release date on Netflix. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
