We're only a few weeks away from the premiere of Star Wars' Obi-Wan Kenobi series and you can best believe that the hype is already starting to kick in as we welcome familiar faces back to a galaxy far, far away.
As it stands, very little is known about the Ewan McGregor-led project other than the fact that it will take place a full decade after the stunning events of Revenge of the Sith where Kenobi's apprentice Anakin Skywalker officially takes up the mantle of notorious Sith Lord Darth Vader.
Now, a new report from the folks over at MakingStarWars claims that the highly anticipated series will mark the live-action debuts of baddies from the acclaimed video game Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. According to the news outlet, Obi-Wan is set to feature the Purge Troopers potentially working for the Inquisitors and Vader himself.
The report also said that the Purge Troopers will be getting redesigned for the upcoming Fallen Order sequel so it'll be interesting to see if the troopers that will show up in Obi-Wan are the overhauled ones or the same ones from the video game.

I don't know about you but it looks like the Obi-Wan Kenobi show is set to plant the seeds for a major Fallen Order crossover. Sure, we're only talking about the Purge Troopers but it could potentially pave the way for a character like Cal Kestis to finally make his way to the live-action Star Wars universe. Things are looking extremely promising for sure.
That said, the first two episodes of Obi-Wan Kenobi will premiere on May 27th exclusively on Disney+.
