Nick Fury Star Samuel L. Jackson Reportedly Asked Marvel to Keep Him in MCU

It looks like Samuel L. Jackson wants to stick around the Marvel Cinematic Universe for a little bit longer.

According to a report by We Got This Covered, sources close to Marvel Studios have revealed that Spider-Man: Far From Home star Samuel L. Jackson has just recently made it clear with the studio how he wants to remain a part of the MCU.

The Pulp Fiction star enjoys playing the MCU's version of Nick Fury and it looks like Jackson has reportedly asked Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige whether he could stay in the franchise a bit longer.

While we've seen Marvel reveal the final chapter in the journey of characters like Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr), Captain America (Chris Evans) and Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), there's still room for Nick Fury to join the MCU. There are a lot of ways that Nick Fury can help the Avengers, especially now that Captain America, Iron Man, and Black Widow are gone.

The former S.H.I.E.L.D. director is definitely going to have his work cut out for him now that he has to find new heroes to help replace Tony Stark and Steve Rogers in the MCU. That means that Marvel fans are probably going to see a lot more of Nick Fury in the franchise.

Of course, Marvel could also have Nick replaced. Feige is trying to bring in fresh new faces to the MCU now that Avengers: Endgame is over, and the Marvel Studios President may want to see someone else take the role now that Marvel is entering Phase 4 of the MCU. We doubt it though.

What do you think? Will we get to see more of Nick Fury in the MCU? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section below.
