Newly Released Spider-Man: Homecoming Concept Art Shows Off Peter’s Web Parachute

Spider-Man: Homecoming is going to come swinging into theaters a few days from now, and Marvel's making sure that everyone's going to be ready once it hits the big screen. The studio continues to release new content to help promote Tom Holland's first feature film as Peter Parker and the newest images show off concept art of the webslinger's newest tech.

Ryan Meinderding, Marvel Studios Head of Visual Development, has just taken to Instagram to share a previously unreleased concept art image made especially for Spider-Man: Homecoming. The thrilling image shows Spidey tangled up in his own web parachute. Check it out down here:

The web-like design of Tony Stark's (Robert Downey Jr.) new tech for Peter goes pretty well with the new suit, and it would be cool to see the new chute up close in Homecoming. Fans have gotten to see a bit of the parachute in the third trailer of the highly anticipated movie, making an appearance while Spider-Man gets dragged up into the sky by Michael Keaton's Vulture.

Here's the synopsis for Homecoming:

"Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, young Peter Parker returns home to live with his Aunt May. Under the watchful eye of mentor Tony Stark, Parker starts to embrace his newfound identity as Spider-Man. He also tries to return to his normal daily routine -- distracted by thoughts of proving himself to be more than just a friendly neighborhood superhero. Peter must soon put his powers to the test when the evil Vulture emerges to threaten everything that he holds dear."

Spider-Man: Homecoming makes its big debut on July 7, 2017.
