We already know that WandaVision isn't going to be like most traditional TV shows considering that it's like a collection of several different sitcoms. However, there's a darker side to the seemingly pleasant Westview as revealed in the latest sneak peek at the Marvel Cinematic Universe series.
The new WandaVision sneak peek was dropped during Disney Parks' Magical Holiday Celebration. Interestingly, it offers a better look at Westview, the suburb that the superheroes now call their home.
The teaser opens with Wanda Maximoff and Vision discussing how they are an unusual couple. "We don't have an anniversary or a song or even wedding rings," Wanda says to her husband. Vision is confused at first but immediately suggests they do the last part and they magically get rings on their fingers.
Although that part was solved easily, things aren't quite what it seems in their new home in Westview. For instance, Wanda gets pregnant and the babies are delivered almost immediately. However, it gets even more suspicious when "Auntie Agnes" steps in, makes a mistake, then says, "Let's just take it from the top" like they are filming a scene.
Another confusing sequence shows Wanda asking Monica Rambeau who she is but the other woman says she doesn't know. This is immediately switched to a scene where they are smiling to each other amicably as if they are long-time friends.
WandaVision stars Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda and Paul Bettany as Vision. The upcoming show will have six episodes and will premiere on Disney+ on January 15, 2021.
