Believe it or not, we're now just a month away before Thor: Love and Thunder make its way into theaters and the marketing campaign has started to gear up for the upcoming MCU films which will continue the God of Thunder's journey after the events of Avengers: Endgame. As we are getting hyped up for its release, we now have our new preview of the highly-anticipated film.
A new clip from Thor: Love and Thunder was released during the recent MTV & TV Awards. In the almost 30-second long footage that they showed, we saw Thor seemingly reuniting with his Mjolnir in the middle of the battle. However, the reunion was cut short when it flew instead to Jane Foster's hands much to Thor's surprise. Jane proceeds to swirl the hammer and ready herself to join the battle.

While the clip was short, it did give us our look at the state of where Thor is during the upcoming film. We saw him being happy and relieved when the Mjolnir approached him for a quick second, but then he was surprised when Jane became the "worthy" one instead and it suddenly became a mystery for him regarding why his ex became a warrior like him and has the possession of the Mjolnir.
There is a lot of anticipation right now for the upcoming film due to many factors whether it's seeing Thor's next journey, the return of Jane Foster, and the introduction of Gorr the God Butcher, who is being hyped as probably one of the best villains that the MCU has ever have. We should be seeing more clips or any promotional campaigns regarding the film in the next few weeks leading up to the release.
The film's logline reads: "Thor embarks on a journey unlike anything he's ever faced -- a quest for inner peace. However, his retirement gets interrupted by Gorr the God Butcher, a galactic killer who seeks the extinction of the gods. To combat the threat, Thor enlists the help of King Valkyrie, Korg and ex-girlfriend Jane Foster, who -- to his surprise -- inexplicably wields his magical hammer. Together, they set out on a harrowing cosmic adventure to uncover the mystery of the God Butcher's vengeance."

Thor: Love and Thunder is set to be released in theaters on July 8.
