New set photos from The Falcon and the Winter Soldier have surfaced over the last couple of days which gave us a better look at Sebastian Stan's updated Bucky Barnes suit. He and co-star Anthony Mackie have also unveiled some behind-the-scenes shenanigans on social media while filming the said series. Now, fans are also getting a proper look at John Walker aka U.S. Agent — and it's the best one yet!

A new BTS image, posted by Instagram user @onset.unseen sees the new MCU character, played by Wyatt Russell as he emerges from the Atlanta City Hall as the "replacement" for Captain America. Of course, we all know by now that Steve Rogers chose to retire his star-spangled mantle and passed on his vibranium shield to Sam Wilson aka The Falcon during Avengers: Endgame's final moments and I'm pretty sure the show will revolve around that. See U.S. Agent strike a pose here:

A lot of mystery surrounds the upcoming Disney+ series which was originally slated to premiere this year and we've yet to get our answers. First things first, why did Sam turnover the shield in the first place? What happens when Bucky and Baron Zemo cross paths once again? Is U.S. Agent going to be an ally or will he end up becoming a fearsome foe? It's safe to assume at this point that while Walker appears to be a goody-two-shoes kind of character, he could very well be a thorn in the side of our heroes but who knows? Marvel Studios is notorious for tweaking its characters' origin stories and motives so I wouldn't be surprised if they pull another shocking trick up their sleeves. We'll just have to wait and see.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will premiere on Disney+ in 2021!
