While we're still waiting for the release of Jim Butcher's next novel, Peace Talks, The Dresden Files fans in the U.S. and Canada (except Quebec) will be able to join a giveaway for the new paperback edition of Brief Cases.

Tor announced the giveaway earlier this week, so if you haven't picked up this anthology of Dresdenverse short stories, you'll definitely want to. Brief Cases contains twelve new stories from a variety of perspectives, including Harry, Molly, Butters, Marcone, Luccio, Maggie, and even Mouse!

Jim-Butcher.com also announced that Jim Butcher and Kitty will be returning to DragonCon this year. They still don't have the schedule for panels and signings but in the meantime, if you're interested in cosplaying in DragonCon, you might want to consider attending the annual Dresden Files Dragon Con Cosplay Shoot. Butcher will probably talk about Peace Talks at the convention so I can't wait for that.
