New Stranger Things Season 2 Teaser Reminds Fans Of Barb

Stranger Things is making its way with its second season later during fall and Netflix has been busy marketing the popular ode-to-the-80's science fiction horror series by releasing various promotional images and previews.

Earlier today the streaming service released a brand new teaser video on the official Stranger Things Twitter account, referencing the way Shannon Purser's poor neglected character got finished off by the Demogorgon during the first season of the series.

A brief video clip that tells fans that "Nothing ever went back to normal," the preview serves as a short homage to Barb.

While Purser's character only served as a sidecharacter in the series, fans were horrified that Nancy Wheeler's (Natalia Dyer) bestfriend would end up as neglected fodder when the character did nothing wrong and only wished the best for Nancy.

Since then fans have been rallying for justice for the character and while Stranger Things showrunners Matt and Ross Duffer have made it clear that they can't bring Barb back from the dead, the new preview reminds viewers that they'll honoring Barb in the second season of the series.

There's no certainty as to how it'll play off, but we're bound to learn more with the series heading to the San Diego Comic Con this weekend.

Stranger Things season 2 releases on Netflix on October 27, 2017.
