David F. Sandberg recently took to Twitter a behind-the-scenes teaser in which he reveals that DC fans may not have to wait any longer for the new trailer release of Shazam! Fury of the Gods!
Included in the picture is the TV rating PG-13 with “The following preview has been approved” along with the Warner Bros. watermark which indicates we will soon be expecting the official new trailer for the Shazam! sequel. Sandberg had even added the caption: “End of this month,” clearly answering that the trailer should be released by late January! Check out Shazam! director’s tweeted photo below:

At the end of the first Shazam! Film, we get to see the Shazam family transform into superheroes, and now, Shazam! Fury of the Gods, we will be seeing the heroes forced to save humanity with their newfound abilities, specifically against the Daughters of Atlas, in which the Shazam family must stop them from destroying the world and make peace with the Gods for taking advantage of their given powers.
Given the current circumstance of James Gunn restructuring the DC Universe, it is quite satisfying to see that they are at least pushing forward with the few movies they have coming this 2023. For now, you can check out the first trailer of Shazam! Fury of the Gods released back in July 2022 before it got delayed:

Shazam! Fury of the Gods stars Zachary Levi and Asher Angel as Billy Batson slash Shazam, Jack Dylan Grazer as Freddy, Adam Brody as Shazam! Freddy, Faithe Herman as Darla, Meagan Good as Shazam! Darla, and Grace Fulton as Mary Bromfield.
Additionally, Ian Chen plays Eugene Choi, Ross Butler as Shazam! Eugene, Jovan Armand as Pedro Pena, D.J. Cotrona as Shazam! Pedro, Marta Milans as Rosa Vasquez, and Cooper Andrews as Victor Vasquez.
Shazam! Fury of the Gods is slated for release this coming March 17, 2023.
