New Planeswalker Will Be Introduced in The Next MTG Set, Ikoria: Lair of Behemoths

Ikoria: Lair of Behemoths, the next Magic: The Gathering set coming this April, is exciting to many fans for a lot of reasons: there's going to be a "create-a-monster mechanic", it's the only new Standard-legal Magic set coming this year with a story set in a never-before-seen plane, Ikoria, and it's going to introduce a new Planeswalker.

Over on his Blogatog,Magic head designer Mark Rosewater revealed that Ikoria: Lair of Behemoths will feature three Planeswalkers: one new, and a "couple we already know".

Although Wizards of the Coast hasn't officially revealed any new cards from the upcoming set, we've already seen the first promotional Ikoria art, and it confirms the return of Vivien Reid, so that means there's one more returning Planeswalker that we don't know yet, and a new one.
