Spider-Man (Tom Holland) has had quite a ride this year. Not only did the web-slinger lose his mentor and father-figure in Avengers: Endgame, but he also had to suffer from being booted out of the Marvel Cinematic Universe after the agreement between Sony and Disney fell through earlier this year.
Thanks to all the clamor that fans made online, the two studios were able to renegotiate and make a new agreement keeping the wall-crawler in the MCU for two more years. Excited to see what the future has in store for Spider-Man, a concept artist decided to create a new picture imagining what Peter Parker might look like if he put on hybrid armor that mixed his identity as Spider-Man with Tony Stark's Iron Man armor.
We have to admit, it's a pretty cool mix. Check out the image down here:
Mixing in the amor that Iron Man had in Avengers: Infinity War with a helmet redesigned specifically for Spidey, the art work allows us to imagine what Spider-Man might look like if he took on Iron Man's torch after Endgame.
Though many speculate that Tony's daughter, Morgan, would take on his role as Iron Man, it isn't hard to imagine Peter taking on the torch for a while. After all, Peter was Tony's mentee. They had a pretty close relationship, one that bordered between a father and a son. We could imagine Tony leaving Peter with a suit similar to the one posted above.
What do you think of this Iron Man x Spider-Man combo? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section below.
Avengers: Endgame is currently available on Digital HD, Blu-Ray and DVD.
