One of the most anticipated films this year is Morbius. Not just because it will feature the debut of the infamous Marvel villain on the big screen, but the film has been delayed several times since its original July 2020 release date. Despite the numerous delays, fans are still looking forward to the film as the trailers that they released so far indicate that it's going to be unique and different from the Venom films.

Today, Sony released a new poster for Morbius which features the ensemble cast of the film. Jared Leto is, of course, the front and center with his character's vampirism form in the background. Matt Smith, Adria Arjona, Jared Harris, and Tyrese Gibson are in the bottom half representing the main supporting cast members. It also has the updated current release date which is on April 1. You can check out the poster below:

This is the first poster that featured the supporting characters of the film and it is similar to most "floating head" comic book movie posters in the past where the ensemble cast are featured in the poster during the latter part of the marketing. The poster itself looks great as it gives us an idea that it's going to be a darker film and what Morbius' powers are with the visuals that they used.

The release of the new poster is an indication that Sony is now ramping up the marketing of the film for its current release date as it is now less than two months away before it hits theaters. In addition, a new poster is also usually a sign that a new trailer might be released very soon so it wouldn't be surprising if a brand new trailer will become available in the next few days to promote its current release date. Let's just wait and see if that's going to be the case.
