New Look at Magic: The Gathering's Eternalized Amonkhet Gods in War of The Spark

A War of the Spark poster recently confirmed the return of the Amonkhet gods (except Hazoret) but as fans of the Magic: The Gathering lore already know, they died in the storyline of Hour of Devastation so they're back in their zombified forms. God-Eternal Oketra, God-Eternal Bontu, God-Eternal Rhonas, and God-Eternal Kefnet will serve in Bolas's army in War of the Spark, and now, we have a new look at the four Amonkhet gods.

It's disturbing to see that the Amonkhet gods have been zombified, and this art shows a terrifying look at their nightmarish versions. At the time of this writing, the cards for the four Eternalized Amonkhet gods haven't been revealed yet but they're expected to be powerful and playable for the Standard format.

War of the Spark will be released on May 3, 2019. It's the third of a series of consecutive sets set in Ravnica and it will focus on the epic war between Nicol Bolas and the Gatewatch.
