Netflix must be pretty pleased that The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina was a hit, counting that production for Season 2 is already ongoing. Lucky for fans, we don't have to wait until next year to see more of the Spellmans. The show is set to have a holiday special this December, and Netflix has released the first photos.

Here's the official description of the special:
The Church of Night, like all covens, celebrates the Winter Solstice –the longest night of the year–when families gather around the Yule Fire to sing pagan carols and tell ghost stories. But the holidays are also a time for guests and visitors–both welcome and unwelcome– you never know what might come down the chimney…
Though the description doesn't really give us much on the actual story of the special, I have a feeling that it's going to end up like some kind of anthology episode having a series of short stories. Despite all the covens and demons of the series, it kind of has all the trademarks of a classic sitcom, what with the dysfunctional family and moments of humor.
We didn't get a third season of Stranger Things this year, but a lot of fans were happy to get CAOS. Kiernan Shipka absolutely shines as young Sabrina Spellman, and the series also has a fantastic cast which includes the likes of Miranda Otto and Lucy Davis.
Catch The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina: A Midwinter's Tale on Dec. 14.
