New Image of Princess Jasmine from the Live-Action Aladdin

Guy Ritchie's Aladdin remake is set to come out later this year, and Disney has just recently been giving us promo material for the film. We don't have a full trailer for the movie yet, but we do have a new image of Naomi Scott as the lovely Princess Jasmine.

While the original movie had Jasmine constantly clothed in blue, the live-action movie seems to be going a more colorful route and has been showing Jasmine off in many different colored outfits. My guess is this one comes very early in the film, and she's checking out one of her new suitors. Then again, that look of wonder could be for the arrival of Prince Ali, but Jasmine thought he was a pompous from the very beginning—up until the Whole New World sequence.

With the animated film being considered a classic, I'm not really expecting much from this movie at all. When it comes to these live-action Disney films, I'm just curious on how they reinterpret the songs for live-action. My second interest is the production value which you know Disney shelled out the money for.

If anything, I'm just happy they chose to keep the musical scenes, because it would be criminal to even drop just one song for this movie. Maybe they can even bring back the cancelled Jafar song that only made its way to the Aladdin play:
