New 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them' Photos Show All Kinds of Critters

Warner Bros has released a bunch of new photos for the upcoming movie Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Collider reports. The trailer released at Comic-Con earlier gave us a look at some new creatures from the Harry Potter world, and these pictures give us even more.

In the below photos we can see the Goblin Gnarlack, who is played by Rob Pearlman.

We can also spot an unnamed house elf- whoever it is, it's definitely not Dobby.

The other creatures that can be spotted are an Occamy, a Demiguise and a Thunderbird.

The Occamy is a large bird (its wings span up to fifteen feet in height) who lays eggs made of pure silver. It's very aggressive. It's found in the Far East and India.

The Demiguise is shy, peaceful ape-like creature that can turn invisible. Its hair is woven into Invisibility cloaks, but those cloaks will lose their invisibility over time. The fact that Harry Potter's inherited invisibility cloak didn't do this was an important plot point in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

Finally, a Thunderbird is a magical creature only recently added to the Harry Potter canon. It's a " a supernatural bird of power and strength" and represents one of the Houses in Ilvermorny, North America's Wizarding School. The creature is actually based off of Native American folklore, which has earned Rowling some criticism.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them comes out November 18, 2016.
