There is much excitement about the upcoming Arrowverse crossover event Elseworlds on The CW. Not surprisingly, Melissa Benoist is most excited about hanging out with the new Batwoman Ruby Rose on the set.
Benoist recently shared an awesome photo from the Elseworlds set. It shows the Supergirl star with Rose in her full Batwoman costume. Take a look at the image below.
We really can't blame Benoist for looking so thrilled. Fans have been looking forward to seeing Rose in action as Kate Kane for some time. After all, the former Orange is the New Black star is set to lead in her own standalone series after the crossover event.
The Arrowverse stars have been sharing a lot of updates on the highly anticipated event. Stephen Amell has been posting photos from the Elseworlds set, giving everyone a glimpse at how his character Oliver Queen will be wearing The Flash suit this December. The Arrow Season 7 actor also shared a gruesome image featuring a bloody operating table. Needless to say, we're terrified yet excited about Elseworlds.
Rose isn't the only new addition to the Arrowverse family. The crossover event will also introduce Grimm actress Bitsie Tulloch as Clark Kent's girlfriend Lois Lane. We're hoping that she will share some interesting scenes with Cat Grant, who has repeatedly expressed her dislike for the reporter. However, it is still unclear if Calista Flockhart will have a guest appearance in Elseworlds.
The major crossover event will kick off with the Supergirl episode on December 9 followed by the Arrow episode on December 10. Elseworlds will conclude with The Flash episode on December 11.
