New Dragon Ball Super: Broly Trailer Released

The second full trailer for Dragon Ball Super: Broly has finally been released, and it's a pretty lengthy one. The trailer gives a surprise look at characters at Bardock and Gine, and it looks the majority of Dragon Ball Minus will be made canon through this film.

Moetron News shared the trailer via Twitter after it surfaced on Youku, a popular streaming website in China. According to reports, the trailer was originally set to debut at New York Comic Con this weekend as the anime film will have a panel at Madison Square Garden on October 5, but now, fans are hyped to see the new trailer earlier than they expected.

The subtitles for this film's trailer haven't been released yet, but fans have already gathered some details from the clip. The trailer features Frieza and his army meeting the Saiyans for the first time on Planet Vegeta. King Vegeta is seen bragging about his son's talents while Bardock is also heard talking about the state of the planet's affair. Paragus is also heard saying that he will make his son into the greatest warrior, but Frieza ensures that there will be no future for the boy when he obliterates Planet Vegeta. At the end of the trailer, we see Super Saiyan Goku, Vegeta, and Broly, teasing an epic showdown between the three Saiyan warriors.

Synopsis:

This is the story of a new Saiyan. Earth is peaceful following the Tournament of Power. Realizing that the universes still hold many more strong people yet to see, Goku spends all his days training to reach even greater heights. Then one day, Goku and Vegeta are faced by a Saiyan called 'Broly' who they've never seen before. The Saiyans were supposed to have been almost completely wiped out in the destruction of Planet Vegeta, so what's this one doing on Earth? This encounter between the three Saiyans who have followed completely different destinies turns into a stupendous battle, with even Freeza (back from Hell) getting caught up in the mix.

Dragon Ball Super is available for streaming on Crunchyroll Saturdays at 7:15 p.m. CST. Toonami still airs the English dub of Dragon Ball Super on Adult Swim Saturdays at 9:30 p.m. It's also available to stream on FunimationNOW and Amazon. The upcoming Dragon Ball Super film will be released in Japan on December 14 and it's expected to be released in US sometime in January 2019.
