The premiere of Doctor Who Series 11 is almost here and we finally have some awesome footage of Jodie Whittaker's Thirteenth Doctor. A new clip features the newly regenerated Time Lord meeting two of her new companions.
The clip opens with Yaz Khan (Mandip Gill) and Ryan Sinclair (Tosin Cole) finding the Doctor in a deserted train. Yaz tells the Doctor to do as she says, calling her "Madame." Thirteen looks at her in confusion and asks why she is being called that. "Because you're a woman," Yaz responds.
Thirteen is clearly delighted with the revelation and immediately asks, "Does it suit me?" Now it's Yaz's turn to be confused, especially when Thirteen admits, "Half an hour ago, I was a white-haired Scotsman."
It's a hilarious clip that has all three players completely confused with each other. However, it is also revealed that the train's driver's cabin has been smashed in. There is a possibility that the scene will immediately lead to the team's first mission together. That is if Thirteen can manage to find a doctor in time.
The premiere episode of Doctor Who Series 11 is titled The Woman Who Fell to Earth, which could mean that Thirteen is responsible for what happened to the train. The episode is directed by Jamie Childs and written by new showrunner Chris Chibnall.
There is no sign of Thirteen's third companion Graham O'Brien, who will be played by Bradley Walsh. Nevertheless, there is a huge possibility that he will be introduced immediately in the first episode.
Whittaker is the first female Doctor and appears to be the most charming yet. We're hoping that the Broadchurch star will stay on for several seasons to come.
The Woman Who Fell to Earth is the first episode of Doctor Who Series 11. The new season airs on BBC One on October 7.
