A new teaser for Daredevil Season 3 has been released, and for those who haven't seen Marvel's The Defenders, this is a major spoiler so consider this a warning.
On the Daredevil Twitter page, a tweet was shared that teases a major event. Check it out:

If you've seen the final episode of The Defenders, you'd know that Daredevil and Elektra were fighting in the bowels of Midland Circle, where the building imploded on top of them. While his friends and fellow Defenders thought he died, he actually made it out alive as shown in the series' closing scene. A nun was helping him recover.
As Matt Murdock's eyes open, a nun tells another to "go get Sister Maggie," which suggests that we might be seeing his birth mother. This also teases the adaptation of Frank Miller and David Mazzucchelli's Born Again storyline, which is one of the most popular Daredevil comics.
Daredevil Season 3 is expected to premiere on Netflix sometime in 2018.
