New Captain Marvel Detail Possibly Confirms Iron Man's Death In Avengers: Endgame

People have a good reason to worry about Tony Stark after the release of the Avengers: Endgame trailer. But is it possible that new details from Captain Marvel have confirmed Iron Man's demise?

A Captain Marvel featurette has recently been leaked on Twitter and it offers some interesting new footage from the highly anticipated movie. In addition to that, there is a brief interview of Brie Larson and Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige, who confirms that the character is "about to take the lead and become the forefront of the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe."

The revelation isn't much of a surprise considering that fans have been expecting Carol Danvers to play a larger role in the MCU after Avengers: Endgame. Unfortunately, it also led to speculations that this means that the current leader of the Avengers will be saying goodbye.

Fans recently went crazy when it was revealed that Endgame will be the final film in Robert Downey Jr.'s MCU contract. Needless to say, some are concerned that this could mean Tony doesn't make it back to Earth or actually dies in Endgame.

Nevertheless, there is hope that Tony will simply resign from his post and live a long, happy life with Pepper Potts without necessarily having to sacrifice himself for the world. Let's cross our fingers and pray that Iron Man gets a fitting but non-lethal exit in the MCU.

Captain Marvel will premiere on March 8, 2019. The film will be followed by Avengers: Endgame, which hits theaters on April 26, 2019.
