It's no secret that Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law share an amazing friendship after working on two Sherlock Holmes films. So it's no surprise that the Avengers: Endgame actor had posted an awesome video with the Captain Marvel star to celebrate Law's birthday.
Downey shared the video on his official Instagram account. It features Sherlock and John Watson dancing together in the film Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows. Take a look at the hilarious post below.
"And 1,2,3,4... To my favorite dance partner... Happy birthday... " Downey wrote before adding the hashtags #judelaw, #judsy, and #drjohnwatson.
It's certainly an awesome post that we could expect from Downey considering that the dance scene in A Game of Shadows is one of the film's most hilarious sequences. It would be interesting to see if the two actors eventually share a scene again in a Marvel Cinematic Universe flick.
We already know that Law is one of the important stars of Captain Marvel but who exactly is he playing in the movie? The official Marvel site had somehow confirmed that the Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald star will portray Mar-Vell. However, the information has since been removed from the site.
There are speculations that Law is actually playing Yon-Rogg, a Kree warrior who has a deep hatred for Mar-Vell. Some believe that he might be the reason why Carol Danvers ends up back on Earth in Captain Marvel.
Downey and Law are set to reunite in Sherlock Holmes 3, which is scheduled for release in December 2020. Captain Marvel will premiere on March 8, 2019, while Avengers: Endgame hits theaters on April 26, 2019.
