New Black Panther Trailer Released

After releasing a teaser earlier this year, Marvel has finally revealed a new Black Panther trailer that will have fans giddy with excitement. Featuring plenty of new footage that showcases the world of Wakanda and plenty of T'Challa (Chadwick Boseman) action, this is a great trailer that will get fans hyped. It also doesn't have many spoilers so fans won't have to worry too much about viewing it.

The trailer focuses on T'Challa inheriting the title of King after his father was killed in Captain America: Civil War. We see him interact with his mother and family about his place in the country, now that he is set to rule it. One stand out scene has T'Challa witness some dream-like imagery, which might have to do with the more spiritual aspects of the Black Panther mythos.

More scenes are also dedicated to the film's villains, like Ulysses Claw (Andy Serkis) and Erik Killmonger (Michael B. Jordan). We even get to see the Killmonger armor in action, after it was first leaked via a toyline. It should make for a fun action sequence, though fans might get a bit confused since the two costumes look so similar to each other.

With plenty of political themes in the trailer, it's clear that the movie is more in line with something like Captain America: Winter Soldier rather than something light like next month's Thor: Ragnarok. Needless to say, Black Panther will feel different from a typical MCU film, just like Kevin Feige promised.

Black Panther hits theaters on February 16, 2018. Fans can also check out the newly released poster below.
