Warner Bros. has released the new trailer for Barbie, the long-awaited live-action film based on the beloved fashion dolls by Mattel. The preview gave us our first full look at Margot Robbie's take on the iconic titular doll and the bright and colorful world of Barbie Land.
While the trailer didn't give out any specific details on the main plot of the film, it does give us a tease on the dynamic between Robbie's Barbie and Gosling's Ken as well as the multiple versions of Barbie and Ken that we will meet throughout the film.
The production and costume design also shined through in the trailer as it promises a visually-striking world of Barbie Land with a pink aesthetic. It also looks like the film will lean more toward a comedic tone as hinted by the jokes and hilarious moments that they teased.

The trailer certainly delivered what the audience might have been looking forward to in a Barbie film and it promises a colorful feast of cinematic experience this summer. Considering the caliber of talent that is involved behind the scenes, there are a lot of expectations that the film will deliver beyond just being an IP movie.
The premise reads: "To live in Barbie Land is to be a perfect being in a perfect place. Unless you have a full-on existential crisis. Or you’re a Ken." Greta Gerwig directed the film and co-wrote the screenplay with Noah Baumbach. Robbie also serves as one of the producers.
The cast also includes America Ferrera, Kate McKinnon, Ariana Greenblatt, Issa Rae, Rhea Perlman, Will Ferrell, Ana Cruz Kayne, Emma Mackey, Hari Nef, Alexandra Shipp, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Simu Liu, Ncuti Gatwa, Scott Evans, Jamie Demetriou, Connor Swindells, Sharon Rooney, Nicola Coughlan, Ritu Arya, Dua Lipa, John Cena, and Helen Mirren.
